Sustainability
At Coffee Fellows
For Coffee Fellows, progressive business management means to tackle the question of how to manage the business sustainably so that our activities burden the environment as little as possible. In particular, the challenge must be met to control these activities in such a way that they are ecologically useful, but still at a reasonable price in order not to impair profitability. In past years, Coffee Fellows consistently investigated business processes and their ways to optimise them.
When selecting suppliers, Coffee Fellows sees to ensure that resources are handled gently and that the protection of the environment in the production processes plays an outstanding role. Our main supplier for packaging material, for example, guarantees a reduction of waste in production, very low cost of transport, a minimum CO2 emission and the use of print colours soluble in water.
To-go-cups, bags and packets get manufactured from raw materials that continue to grow naturally. The goods are compostable or recyclable. Our industrial partners in the paper branch are, as a rule, PEFC- and FSC-certified. This means that natural resources that are used for production come from sustainably farmed forests.
